If an organization is already prequalified, no action is required at this time.

Would a private firm be eligible to become a prequalified partner and thus be able to file applications for funding?Prequalified partner status is intended for organizations that would be eligible, per the Funding policy, to receive subgrants. The funding policy says “Funding Program Administrators should use Table 1 as a guide to determine eligible subgrant recipients.” And in Table 1, the list of eligible and ineligible candidates is as follows:

Eligible Entities
Vermont municipalities, Regional planning commissions, Natural resource conservation districts, Non-profit organizations, State agencies, State colleges and universities, Public hospitals and medical centers, Public schools.

Ineligible Entities
Private citizens, individuals, Private for-profit businesses and industries, Private for-profit colleges and universities, Federal agencies.
