Housing Dashboard
NRPC is excited to announce the release of our Regional Housing Dashboard! The dashboard shows the location of all housing units in Franklin and Grand Isle counties built from 2020 to 2023. This data was compiled over the past year based on information from municipal building permits and will be updated every year going forward. The dashboard will serve as a regional planning tool for NRPC, and is also available to help municipalities and residents understand development trends and housing needs in their town and across the region.
Questions or comments regarding the dashboard can be directed to Luke Slomba at (802) 524-5958 ext. 131 or by email.
Regional Data Scorecards
NRPC has created and released 11 region-specific data scorecards to increase the availability and efficiency of data collection in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. The scorecards contain a variety of data based on the goals and policies of the 2023 Regional Plan. In addition to helping NRPC track progress on regional goals, the scorecards are intended to serve as a resource to other local governments, community organizations, and community members to start and aid in conversations around challenges and opportunities facing communities. Data is updated on a yearly basis to include the most recent information available. Sources include the American Community Survey, Youth Risk Behavior Survey, and various departments at the State of Vermont. The most recent update was completed in January 2024.
